The Fiduciary Standard
A fiduciary responsibility means putting the interests of another party before your own, so in our case, putting the interests of our clients before our own. Seems simple enough, but not all advisors are fiduciaries. At VestGen, we follow what we believe to be the original fiduciary standard, “The Golden Rule.” “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” We believe the rest will take care of itself.
The CFP® Board provides its Code of Ethics and Professional Standards which its certificate-holders must abide by, which includes acting in an investment fiduciary capacity. We embrace these standards.
